SimpleComm Solutions is all about delivering value to your company.  As a full service solutions provider, we have access to a variety of leading suppliers in the communications industry so we can offer “a la carte” services or a fully integrated hardware, software and service related solution.  Our company remains independent and objective as a result of our many sources of products and services.  The SimpleComm portfolio includes network service providers and hardware suppliers for voice, data and wireless.  As part of our extensive Premier Partner network, SimpleComm can manage custom integration services if the need arises.  If your business is merely interested in design and consultation services, SimpleComm has specialists that are project based with extensive experience in their particular competence area.

PERSONNEL PROFILES

Peter Fitzgerald-President

SimpleComm Solutions was founded in late 2002 by Peter Fitzgerald.  Mr. Fitzgerald has been in the telecommunications industry over 15 years.  Fitzgerald started in a small wireless company in the early 1990's at the cusp of the wireless explosion.  During this time, he was one of the pioneers in wireless data applications.  Following this period Fitzgerald spent five years with the multi-national telecommunications manufacturer, Ericsson, in the enterprise network solutions group.  His experience at Ericsson included needs assessment, design and consulting to Fortune 500 clients around the Midwest for advanced wireless network systems.  Clients included the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the Chicago Board of Trade, Accenture, State Farm Insurance, Lawson Software, Illinois Tool Works, the Mayo Clinic and Budget Rental Cars.  Most recently, Fitzgerald was employed with a profitable CLEC in the Chicago area aiding clients in circuit implementations for voice and data services.

Fitzgerald earned an M.S. in Communications Systems Strategy and Management from Northwestern University and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland in College Park.  He is an accredited Associate Business Continuity Planner certified by the Disaster Recovery Institute International.  He has served as an instructor at Northwestern University for Wireless Network Technologies and has served as an advisory faculty member with Northwestern's School of Continuing Studies.  He is currently an adjunct faculty teaching a Wireless Technologies course with the Illinois Institute of Technology. Fitzgerald is also a recent Board Member for the Chicago Industrial Communications Association and was a Senior Director with the International Engineering Consortium.  Contact Peter by clicking here.

Steven Levine-Director of Business Development

Steven Levine joined the company to head up business development activities as co-founder of SimpleComm Solutions.  Mr. Levine's career experience includes business development and marketing activities for Internet auctioneer uBid.com and telecommunications firm, Listen Inc. While at uBid.com, Steve increased revenues of the Auction Exchange Platform more than 350% in less than 1 year.  During Steve's tenure at Listen Inc. he managed full scale telephone system projects that included client acquisition, system design, project coordination and customer relationship management.  Steve's extensive experience forging industry partnerships and serving enterprise clients in the greater Chicago area has been instrumental to the rapid growth of SimpleComm Solutions.  Steve's technical knowledge along with his client management and marketing skills are key attributes in serving our SimpleComm clients and leading our Account Consultant team.

Steven Nemetz- Director of Client Services and Solutions

Steve brings over 15 years of Strategic sales and National or Enterprise Account Management experience to our valued customers. He has worked within the Hospitality, Telecom, Wireless and Information Technology industries for companies based in Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco and Toronto. Each was targeting key new business development relationships which Steve delivered across the required verticals. Steve assisted introduce emerging firms to established companies including Administaff, American Airlines, Citadel Investments, NASA, PR Newswire, Sears, and many others  

From 2000 to 2006 Steve founded and developed a unique Sales Acceleration practice here in Chicago. His work was instrumental in leveraging key relationship capital to grow more profitable customer and partnership portfolios at a dramatically lower cost of sale to his clients, including a Tier One Trade mission assisting 10 Canadian firms win over 60 targeted meetings with select Chicago companies over an abbreviated visit.

Steve is very active within the Chicago Wireless and Technology networking communities, including the Illinois Technology Association, MIT entrepreneurs forum, and Venture Group. Terrance Hale-Sales Operations Manager

Terrance Hale joined SimpleComm Solutions in June 2003 with the intent to build a business cellular program.  Since that time he has worked to launch and manage the SimpleComm cellular program which includes sales and service of the all major cellular carriers as well as various other wireless communication providers.

Prior to joining the SimpleComm team, Terrance studied Network Systems at Northwestern University and has over 10 years experience in Customer Service in the retail and financial services fields.  You can contact Terrance by clicking here.

Joshua Chamness–Director of Technical Services

Josh Chamness has 10+ years in the telecommunications and IT fields.  Prior to joining Simplecomm he owned his own business performing implementation and support services to residential and small business customers in the greater Chicagoland area.  His technical skills include but are not limited to:

  VoIP and traditional Phone system installation and maintenance
  Microsoft Windows application development including .NET development, XHTML and ASP.net web/application development (Microsoft MCP Certified)
  Network configuration, design and troubleshooting experience including router, switches and firewall appliances (CompTIA A+ Certified)
  Structured cabling, design and troubleshooting

Josh spent 3 years with MCI (then known as Worldcom, Inc.) as a Senior Planning Engineer for high capacity circuits from DS1 level up to OC192 level.  He was involved with design, troubleshooting and repair of metro fiber networks and physical network equipment installations.  Other career experience includes work on PBX and Call Center platforms for Ericsson Enterprise Solutions, structured cabling solutions (copper and fiber) for Communications Systems & Services Corp and Central Office/Mobile Switching and High Speed LAN deployment for the Illinois Army National Guard.

Grace McLoughlin–Manager of Client Services

Grace McLoughlin joined SimpleComm Solutions in 2007. She brings more than 20 years experience in managing successful sales organizations, marketing high tech products, and working as an independent business consultant. Among her other accomplishments, Grace has worked with IBM as an evangelist to promote its OS/2 operating system and PS/1 consumer computer line, training the Number One national sales teams for both products.

Prior to joining SimpleComm, Grace was the Director of Communications at VoiceCue Technologies, Inc. where she worked on national engagements with SBC, Lucent, Cingular Wireless and Leap Wireless. Recognizing the opportunity afforded by the introduction of wireless data services, Grace helped change the focus of VoiceCue's business from prepaid cellular provisioning to realtime wireless data usage metering. In her spare time, Grace paints in egg tempera, bakes bread and plays guitar.

Grace pursued her undergraduate degree in Theatre and Communications at the University of Illinois in Chicago and has studied Telecommunications at Northwestern University in Evanston.
